It has been a few months since I posted last. I am going to use this as my online journal since there are no links to this blog on the search engines and since there are no readers of this “hidden” blog at this time. Here is an update:
I currently have 3 websites – aquarium, signs, buildings.
Aquariums is the only one making real money on it. I am trying to become an Amazon affiliate in order to maximize earnings. It appears that Amazon has the best system in place and people buy stuff online from Amazon so it is a natural shift to use the Amazon affiliate program. At this time I am “paying the bills” with this website – probably around $350/month last month but typically averaging around $100-$150/month in the past.
Signs is the one I am concentrating on the most right now. So many websites claim to be “auto” run and use a maximum amount of affiliate links but at the end of the day they are just junk. I can use signs to use my programming skills to sell a simple product. I should be increasing “inventory” to the point where I am picking up the people who know what they want in a sign and I am the one who “stocks” it for them. 3 product types including lightbox signs, wood signs, and neon signs – offer all three in a turnkey and a kit solutions. Nothing successfully is easy. Keep building on what you have been doing. At this time my monthly traffic LITERALLY doubled between October and November so I am doing something REALLY right. Get the wood signs up, fix the graphic, and send a press release to double again. This site has potential to destroy aquariums if I can start producing original product on a weekly basis.
Buildings is the bohemeth that just needs to sit. At the right time I will scrap the junk on it now, wordpress or nopcomerce it, and start building the giant.
At this time I need to keep my eye on the prize – I own three sites and don’t have time to run the third so keep going on signs and do not get distracted by crappy sites that others are trying to make a buck on. I need to find the method to build traffic or all I will be doing is buying other people’s sites and letting them die.
